Can Education Save Us?

In times of turmoil like these we often wonder what to do. Since we have been trained to quickly comform to what is shown as being 'the universal reality', we sit down again and switch to a different mode. After all, there's nothing we can do about starvation in other parts of the world, or wars, or unemployment, or social injustice. But, is there?

I think there is. We can't change the world, agreed. But we can all do something to change a portion of it. From my perspective, a good starting point is education. Here's a couple of good quotes about this:

'We teach, we touch the future'  'Children are living messages we send into the future'.
